Hugo Boss convinces with numbers
The mode company Hugo Boss increased the conversion in the first half-year of the current financial year by eleven per cent on 794 million euro. As the enterprise communicated on Wednesday, the operational result (PUBLIC EXHIBITION FOR MULTIMEDIA) added 18 per cent and came on 93 million euro, while the company result rose by 18 per cent to 64 million euro. The analysts asked by “german press agency AFX” had counted on a conversion of 780 million euro and an operational result of 92 million euro. “Hugo Boss could continue the dynamic growth of the previous years from January to June 2007 in all important markets. Particularly pleasing thereby the ranges Boss Womenswear, shoes and Lederaccessoires as well as the own retail trade developed again”, explained chief executive Bruno Sälzer. For the whole year 2007 the executive committee expects a turnover growth of currency-settles ten to twelve per cent and a result increase before taxes from twelve to 15 per cent in relation to the previous year's value.
